Text Box: Wine History
Tassajara Cellars is a small family owned winery in Paso Robles specializing in varieties from the Rhone Valley of France.  With an annual production of just 500 cases, Viognier (Sibling), Syrah, and a proprietary blend call Rousse Rouge (Red Head Red) are bottled.  The first release in 1999 received stellar reviews.  Later, increasing production to just a hair above 600 cases, Tassajara ventured upon Pinot Noir, releasing the first vintage in 2002 and a Syrah Rose, with a 2003 vintage.
